The co-op is in the process of putting up aisle signs... very early in the process. We need several pieces of unpainted, unfinished, sanded wooden board, four of them to be exact, and would like them to have a matching thin wooden frame around them like a chalkboard does (about 5/8"), on both sides or around it, however that works. The desired size for each sign is 16" (width) x 12" (height). An extra 1/2" or so of width may be okay; the height must be 12". A thickness of approximately 1" seems right.
If there is someone who makes things with wood this would be an excellent opportunity to get in some member hours; if the materials are scrap then it would be nice if they were a donation, but I think the co-op might reimburse someone for new materials if needed.
