Do you create jewelry?

Post by John Leary »

On Saturday December 12 at 2:00pm, the Co-op is sponsoring a Jewelry & Gift Expo at Namasté Café. We've got some jewelry makers lined up, but we'd love to add more. If you make jewelry or other personal decorations, or you know someone who does, please message me so we can set everything up.

We're goiing to be distributing flyers listing all the participants, so please let us know as soon as you can!

Peace,
John

New Jewelry studio in HP

Post by ellenr »

Hi John
You might want to connect with this:
The Highland Park Dance Society is happy to announce the grand opening of "The
Jeweler's Studio" in the IM Gallery building. Operated by Lila Gutkowski, the
Jeweler's Studio, 233 Raritan Avenue, is open for jewelry-making classes, and as
a workspace for jewelers who don't have their own workshop. Lila will be
teaching traditional silver smithing techniques which include soldering, fusing,
forming, stone setting etc. Students will be working with silver, but all
techniques are applicable to any metal including gold and the non precious
metals too such as copper. Students will start working on a pair of earrings,
and then move on to a ring. All the techniques are then applicable to any piece
of jewelry that a student would later on want to make. For more information,
please visit the website: http://www.jewelersstudionj.com/

Are you still accepting vendors? I meant to ask a while ago and it didn't even occur to me until I saw an email about it this morning. I make pocketbooks out of old sweaters. Let me know either way! Thanks!
