2. Members voted to permit electronic voting in future referendum votes.
3. Members re-elected Marilynn Winston, Chad Hetman, and John Leary to continue serving on the Board of Directors.
Co-op members, the official ballot box is here! You have TWO WEEKS (until Saturday April 4th) to mail in your referendum ballot, or to return it in-person to the store. The store’s future is yours — be a part of the process!
Our co op has recently concluded our 2013 referendum. Thank you to everyone who participated, your input is vital. An important change to our membership structure has passed. Once implemented, memberships will renew on the anniversary of joining, rather than every August.
Additionally, all seven Board of Director appointments were ratified by membership vote.
As a member of the George Street Co Op, you will receive your 2013 referendum in the mail. There are EIGHT questions. Question 1 deals with membership terms, and the remaining seven are ballot votes for each of the seats on the Board of Directors.
